Occasionally similar events happen in a series and when they do, it makes me wonder if God is attempting to get someone's attention.
Some time in January 2008 some young people apparently had "nothing to do" (although I would be able to find them something to do) and toppled tombstones in a church cemetery in my current hometown, Cambridge, Maryland. Rightfully so, locals were aghast at the foolishness and disrespect done to the memory of the departed.
Soon after that, workers digging in the city street only a few hundred feet away from the cemetery found human bones. Apparently it was an old grave that was covered with a road some years back. MacMom, a participant in a local forum, wrote, "It said in the paper today that if you look at an old map (early 1800s) that there was a graveyard from Race Street to Mill Street all along Church [Street]. Who knows who those people were: it's sad that no record probably exists. I'm glad that my grandparents and mom are buried in a churchyard that won't ever be just covered up and built over. (I hope) For some reason it comforts me knowing that 200 years from now, someone will be able to look at their stones and know they lived and died, that they existed."
Doubtless there are millions buried whose lives we know nothing about and for which no human record exists. Yet, God knows who they, and they still exist, either in hell or heaven, for it is written in Ecclesiastes 12:7, "... shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Other passages indicate the dead will be raised and judged by Christ.
In our time, Christ stands ready to be the Savior of anyone, to free them from sin, rescue from hell, and grant Eternal Life to the one that fully trusts in Him, repenting of their sin. He knows all about you, and invites you to come to Him.

"O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates and thy gates of rubies, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD, and great shall be the peace of thy children." --- Isaiah 54:11-13
