The Holy Bible is a very amazing book, presenting information about the future and full of power to get one through that future.

Nations that the Holy Bible indicated would not be around for the end times no longer exist, while those mentioned in the Millennial Reign of Christ (a time period yet to come) are still around.

Growing in Christ, another amazing thing I discovered about Bible prophecy is that its prophecies are fulfilled in detail. All one has to do is to read the prophecies about the suffering Messiah, like those found in Isaiah 53 written about 700 years before Christ suffered and died. Judas Iscariot betrayed Christ for 30 pieces of silver, which was foreseen by the Holy Spirit through the prophet Zechariah over 500 years before it actually happened.

Before His death, Christ said the Jewish temple would be destroyed, and so it was, about 40 years later. The Jewish people were scattered over the face of the earth, and Israel disappeared from maps. However, Isaiah prophesied that it would be born in one day and over 2 and half millenniums later, so it was in 1948.

According to the Holy Bible, one of many things that lie ahead is a time of trouble that the earth has never seen. The Antichrist will arise and the world economy will be commandeered by his aid, The False Prophet. Those left will not be able to buy or sell unless they receive the mark of the Beast.

Yet, there is a happy ending to all of this and it is up to us to choose which ending we are going to be a part of. I invite you get on God's side now. Sure, it's not easy to be truly dedicated to Him, but it sure is better than the alternative.

Besides, the same Book that tells us the future also shows us how to touch the throne of God to receive the grace we need in every situation. However, we must fully trust Him. There is really no one else, not even ourselves, to turn to for strength for the future.

“Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them. Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.” Isaiah 44:6-8
