It sounds like a myth--the prophetically promised Messiah from the Jews is born, ministers, performs miracles, is killed then miraculously comes to life again three days after His death. Anymore, society fosters the idea that such a thing is a myth. After all, if a child hears from the mouths of adults that Christ is real but from the same mouths hears about the Easter bunny as real, well shall we not expect them to later view all of the Holy Bible as ficticious?
While many who read these GemLights personally know Christ within themselves, perhaps there are some that just have to wonder about the Bible, especially the account of the Resurrection of Christ. For those that know Christ, what follows may be helpful when witnessing to the lost.
If you think of it, there really has to be a resurrection and an accounting of everyone. For society, there are people that really do "get away with murder" and other crimes, inhumane treatment of others and more. There are also those who follow God's Way that make a positive impact upon society whether society realizes it or not. Folks like those have something to look forward to after departing for a time in this world for Paul by the Holy Spirit writes (1 Cor. 14:32), "If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not?"
To me, Paul and million of others, are a very good way to show that the Resurrection is not a myth. After all, would millions be willing to suffer and die for a myth?
Another question is, how much power does a myth have? Frankly, those that believe in myths really do not display much power derived from what they believe.
But a true Christian is one who, by faith, fully trusts in Christ and, in so doing, is dramatically changed by Christ. The thief stops stealing and learns to give. The murderer throws away hate and begins to love. The homosexual and others in sexual sin turn from their lifestyle and live the pure life of Christ. The liar forsakes lying and lives and speaks truth. Drug addicts are cured of their addiction and become addicted to Christ. And the person who thought they were a "good person" embraces the truth that their personal righteousness is eternally worthless but in committing to Christ they possess the greatest treasure.
The Resurrection of Christ is not a myth, but good news (Gospel) that has been demonstrated with power in millions of lives, for it is written in Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

"O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colors and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates and thy gates of rubies, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD, and great shall be the peace of thy children." --- Isaiah 54:11-13
